Get College Ready

Austin Partners in Education(APIE) creates and fosters effective community and school partnerships that provide all Austin ISD students preparation for college and career. APIE seeks volunteers for the College Readiness Program to help execute on plan to increase 15% annually college-ready.

The Skillpoint Alliance Annual College & Career Fair provides an opportunity for thousands of juniors and seniors from regional high schools to explore career opportunities as well as obtain information on postsecondary education. In its 12th year, the event offers a unique exposition-type setting for students to interact with 100-plus business, government, nonprofit, and education representatives. The next fair is scheduled for October 7, 2009.
